Planiit for business
Everything the invitation list needs, in one place.
Summer balls, galas, sports day, the Christmas party and the end of term collection. Use it for the guest list and the RSVPs, use it to collect the money, or use it for both on the same event. Invitations go out to a named list, replies come back with plus-ones and dietary requirements attached, and anything collected is paid into your own Stripe account.
Planiit takes no fee from what people contribute. Stripe takes its standard transaction fee from each contribution as it arrives.

This is the whole list on the free version. Anything organisation shaped sits in the organisation layer, further down the page, which is in early beta.
Invitations and RSVPs
For the summer ball, the gala dinner, sports day or the Christmas party. Pre-registered guest lists with CSV import, bulk email invitations, plus-ones as named guests with their own dietary requirements, and reminders that chase whoever has not replied.
Honest note. The premium layer is live and in use, but self-serve purchase is not switched on yet, so access is arranged with us directly.Collections alongside the event
Teacher gifts, leaving presents, staff whip-rounds and end of term collections. Run as many as you need side by side. Each one has its own share link, its own deadline and its own running total, so four collections are not four tabs in one spreadsheet.
Money that leaves a record
Contributions are card payments handled by Stripe, each with its own reference, paid into the organiser's own Stripe account. Planiit never holds the money and takes nothing out of it. The point for an organisation is that nothing runs through a shoebox or a personal transfer, and there is a list rather than a memory of who has paid.
A gift at the end of it
When the collection closes, the total converts into a gift card from the catalogue, so nobody has to do the shopping trip, keep the receipts, or work out what to do with the odd four pounds left over.

Running six collections at once used to mean six tabs and a spreadsheet. The coordinator view puts them in one list, sorted so whatever needs attention is at the top, with the totals and the deadlines already worked out.

How an event runs
Set up in an evening, counted before the day itself.
Build the list
Import it from a spreadsheet or add people one at a time, then set what you need to ask them. Dietary requirements and whether they are bringing anyone are already there.
Send and chase
Invitations go out by email, each with its own link. You can see who has been sent one, who has replied and who still needs a nudge. Nobody has to make an account to answer.
Close the numbers
The headcount, the named plus-ones and every dietary requirement sit in one list, ready for whoever is catering. If a collection has been running alongside, close it and turn the total into a gift card.
Early beta
The organisation layer is in early beta.
On the free version an event and its collection belong to the person who set them up, so when that person moves on, the history goes with them. The organisation layer fixes that, and it is open now to a small group before the general rollout. Ask for early access and we will set you up.

Questions schools ask

Who holds the money?
Stripe does, until the organiser withdraws it. Contributions go into the organiser's own Stripe account, each with a payment reference. Planiit never holds the funds and takes no fee from them.
What does it cost?
Creating a collection, inviting people and tracking replies is free. Stripe's standard transaction fee comes out of each contribution. Pricing for premium invitations and for organisation accounts is still being set, which is why the button says talk to us rather than showing you a plan.
Can several of us run collections for one school?
Not yet, in the way you probably mean. Any number of people can each run their own collections, and if you have premium you can see all of yours in one place. What does not exist is shared access, where two people manage the same collection, or a school-wide view across everybody's. Both are on the roadmap above and neither is available today.
What happens to parents' details?
Guest details are encrypted in the database, invitation emails carry a working unsubscribe, and contributing needs no account. Our privacy policy covers the rest.
We need the organisation account before September.
Then tell us that. We are choosing the build order now, and a school with a date in the diary is the best reason there is to move something up.
Is Planiit UK only?
The full system, including collections, is UK only for now. Save the date invitations work anywhere.
